Their albums kind of sneak up on me, the subtle pleasures take time to dig in, but stay for years. I was just recently revisiting their debut from 2006. It’s hard to say if Beach House have really evolved on Bloom, their fourth album, but they have certainly refined their style. Some may believe they peaked on their acclaimed third effort Teen Dream (2010), but for the most part, Bloom sounds like a satisfying continuation of their meticulous and delicate pop craft. | Reviews
