I’ve been slavering and anticipating this one for nearly a year. Not a big departure from the sound of their last opus Eve (2010), especially to those who don’t regularly bathe in the epic doom/sludge/psych of this Italian band, but definitely a step forward. In my excitement I gave it a 10, but it does seem a part of a greater whole. It’s a uniquely tricky situation where you don’t get to hear the second half until months later. For now, I’ll just enjoy. | Doomantia | Pop Matters
