Ghost Keychain

July 10, 2012 by A.S. Van Dorston

A friend gave me this Ghost keychain that came with a Metal Hammer subscription. Ghost measured up to their hype live when I saw them earlier this year on the Decibel tour. Shortly after they joined Mastodon and Opeth for an even bigger tour. Despite the activity, they stated they will also be releasing their second album late this year. They signed in May to major label Seven Four Ent. with a reported advance of $750,000. The new label was formed by ex-Warner Bros. exec Tom Whalley under the Universal Republic umbrella. A Nameless Ghoul mentioned the album will include a cover of ABBA’s song “I’m a Marionette.” The band also does an interesting cover of The Beatles’ “Here Comes The Sun” in their live shows.
